Joining the Bhagavad Gita course for Leadership has been an epochal moment for me. After 15 years in global supply chain and aerospace leadership, I thought I had a good grasp of what it takes to lead but Sridhar Sir's The Gita Way to Leadership & Management quietly challenged that assumption.
What struck me most was how Dr. V. Sridhar draws from the Bhagavad Gita, Puranas and Itihaasas not as ancient texts, but as living frameworks for navigating complexity, ambiguity, and human relationships. The concept of Fictional and Non-fictional leadership still echoes in my thoughts on how a leader should guide his team.
The sessions prompted genuine self-examination. Concepts like detached attachment, purpose driven mindset, time management, duty over outcome, and leading from inner clarity reframed how I think about decisions, teams, and purpose. Being contented but ambitious is something which I will always remember.
Also the course doesn't have a religious flavour to it but is more on understanding and applying Lord Krishna's teaching in the modern world.
I strongly recommend this course for all professionals across industries and is truly an investment worth making.
During my student days, I came across a few philosophical quotes from the Bhagavad Gita. They stayed with me, but I never seriously considered studying it, assuming it had little relevance to academics or livelihood.
A few years later, as real life began to unfold with its complexities, I felt drawn to the Gita. I started listening to audio discourses and watching related content. However, most of what I encountered focused largely on religious or philosophical interpretations. The practical application—especially in areas like leadership, decision-making, and handling real-life challenges—was rarely discussed.
Over the past four months of attending the Gita classes, my perspective has significantly evolved. I am now beginning to understand its deeper relevance in everyday life—particularly in managing aspirations, dealing with attachment, strengthening belief systems, navigating difficult situations, and gaining control over the mind.
This journey has been truly insightful, and I am grateful for the new dimension it has added to my thinking.
